The Al Thani Collection Foundation is pleased to have been a leading supporter of the National Gallery Summer party on 15 June 2023.

The event was a fundraiser for NG200, The National Gallery’s Bicentenary campaign, which will launch on 10 May 2024 with a programme of inspirational exhibitions and outreach around the United Kingdom, and around the world. This will also include the completion of an initial phase of works to their Trafalgar Square buildings in order to improve the ‘welcome’ provided to the millions of visitors received each year. The Foundation is pleased to continue its ongoing support of the museum as a major benefactor of the campaign.

The Summer Party was attended by His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Abdullah Al Thani, special cultural advisor to The Al Thani Collection Foundation, who was welcomed by Dr. Gabriele Finaldi, Director of the National Gallery.
