At their annual gala dinner on 10 November 2022, His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Abdullah Al Thani, special cultural advisor to The Al Thani Collection Foundation, was made a Fellow of the Ashmolean Museum, Oxford. The Fellowship was awarded by Lord Lupton, Chairman of the Board of Visitors, in recognition of Sheikh Hamad and The Al Thani Collection Foundation’s ongoing support and friendship of the museum.
